Yes, those three amazing musicians from Glasgow have returned with a bang. Yesterday CHVRCHES played their first show in eight months at the Ottawa Bluesfest. Along with the show came the announcement of their sophomore album Every Eye Open to be released September 25th and the debut of their new single “Leave A Trace”. CHVRCHES highly anticipated sophomore album Every Open Eye is set to be released on September 25, 2015 per several online sources. The band had been teasing new partial photos of the new album cover the past two days which comes together as the image seen above.
After an eight month hiatus for a quick break and to record their second album the band returned to the stage tonight at the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest where they premiered three new songs from the new album with one ready to be debuted to the public tomorrow. This Saturday night TYCI brings another stacked lineup to Glasgow! Alimony Hustle will headline the event with support from Life Model and Milk on the decks. If you’re in the area Saturday night stop by for a great night of music in support of some great causes.
This event kicks off at 11pm at the Stereo Café Bar in Glasgow. Tickets are now available for £5 via Stereo Café Bar. As with every month, TYCI’s raffle supports a different charity. This month, funds raised will go to the Nicola Murray Foundation.
